dc.description.abstract This report deals specifically with a marketing strategy for steel street lighting columns, transmission poles and high mast lighting columns. Research into the market place shows that demand will continue to increase for street lighting columns and high mast lighting columns but is declining for transmission poles. It is recommended that Tubemakers of South Africa, a subsidiary of Stewarts & Lloyds of South Africa Limited, concentrate their marketing effort in the two products identified as growing in demand. Various proposals are presented for consideration. en
